EAVI particpated in the dialogue on Internet governance (EuroDIG), hosted by EURid and in cooperation with the European Commission, on 9-10 June, in Brussels.

The event brought together organisations, government representatives and experts and organised a number of panels and interesting debates.

Focused on internet governance, EuroDig serves as a multi stakeholder platform. It’s not about decision making but about contributing to shaping decisions. Although discussions embraced a broad range of issues, the conference was structured to accommodate anyone wishing to participate.

EAVI emphasised that efforts to promote media literacy needed to be compounded and that resources are available online ready to be used. We also went back home with new ideas to collaborate and expand the activities of EAVI.

We look forward to participating in the next dialogue!
