The Digital Festival is a celebration of tech, ideas and global innovation.
Through talks, workshops, debates and performance, the Festival creates a space in the heart of Europe where people can get excited about new technology and be inspired by digital innovations. The inaugural edition in 2016 saw over 1,000 tech experts, Meetup groups, industry leaders and policymakers exchange ideas, forge relationships and drive innovation.
Media literacy professionals from all over Europe will be gathering in Sarajevo in September 2017 to explore the huge challenges of our rapidly changing media world.
Given the tidal wave of information, disinformation, propaganda and lies that we have witnessed in the recent past, the Media Meets Literacy 2017 conference, organized by the Evens Foundation and partners, will have plenty to discuss.
MozFest is a diverse, highly interactive event with something for everyone. The festival kicks off Friday evening with a science fair, where attendees can stroll around and check out presentations on inspiring ideas and projects, many of which were developed at previous MozFests. Saturday and Sunday are filled with participant-led sessions that generally run between one and three hours. These might be interactive labs where participants can learn something new or share their knowledge; small group breakout discussions where bright minds debate the most pressing issues facing the Internet today; or design sprints dedicated to hands-on making, hacking and producing a ‘thing’.
