The conference will be hosted by MEPs Isabella Adinolfi from the EFDD Group and Curzio Maltese from the GUE/NGL Group.

 

Our level of media exposure is unprecedented and continues to rise. Acquring media literacy skills, including a critical consumption of media content is essential to citizens’ contribution to public life.

The conference will focus on how, as policy develops, Europe needs to remain in the forefront of promoting media literacy to protect citizens rights and make sure we all share in the benefits.
